I love people! I love patients! I love creating an atmosphere where people forget they’re in a dental office. It’s a pleasure to get to know those in our care and help make sure they enjoy all aspects of their visits. I’m responsible for the overall operation of our front office. I oversee scheduling, billing, accounts receivable, insurance claims, and payroll. But my biggest focus is on our relationships with our patients and making sure they’re smiling.
I’ve been with my husband Ed since I was 15; we’ve been married for more than 20 years. I’m very proud of him, because he’s now Chief of Police. We have two wonderful sons, Brennen and Cullen, who are attending college at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh.
I really like seeing patients smiling when they arrive. They know they’re going to have a painless visit, and that we’re going to take care of their dental needs in a gentle manner. I greet patients and always have a few minutes to chat about their life and family. I also answer the phone, make appointments, pull charts, and check out patients at the end of their visits. I’m here to help with insurance issues, too.
I’m originally from upstate New York, then moved to Colorado where I met my husband Doug. We moved to Naperville in 2003. Our son Ryan is in his second year at COD, and our daughter Taylor is about to enter high school. I spend my time with my family and our dogs.
Dental Assistant / Clinical Coordinator
I love helping people develop and maintain optimal oral health. I’m fascinated by the science involved in diagnosis and treatment, but I never forget that I’m caring for a person with unique concerns and needs. In talking with each patient, I learn who they are and I love hearing about their lives. In addition to assisting Dr. Grimley with chairside patient care, I also fabricate customized temporary restorations and develop patient-specific whitening treatments.
I’m married with three children, a dog, and a cat. I enjoy almost anything that can be done outdoors and in warm weather! I love helping our community. I volunteer at the Mission of Mercy clinic and provide help to those who cannot afford routine dental care.
I have been in the dental field for 18 years. I truly love being a dental assistant and learning new techniques and advances in patient care. I have two beautiful daughters and have been married for 20 years. In my free time, I enjoy running with friends and watching live music with my husband & friends.
I love getting to know each patient. Every person’s life is interesting to me, and I find I learn a lot from our conversations. In talking with people, I learn about their hobbies and habits which helps me figure out how to assist them in making positive changes. While I clean a patient’s teeth and provide preventive dental care, I educate the person about oral health. When a person knows why it’s important to keep the mouth healthy and how to do so, he or she can be healthier overall and have wonderful smiles!
My highschool sweetheart Paul and I have been married for 20 years. We have two children, Nicholas and Clara. I enjoy being with my family and watching my children play sports. I also like traveling, shopping, and spending quality time with friends.
I love the relationships that grow between my patients and myself. Laughing and talking together creates wonderful bonds. I love that I’m helping people I care about develop great oral health. I work one-to-one with patients and educate them about proper home dental hygiene practices while I care for their dental and periodontal health needs. Giving each patient the knowledge and tools to keep their mouth and smile healthy between visits is my passion.
I grew up in Oswego where I’m the fifth generation in my family to live in the town. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy running, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.
